Our mission
The mission of The Mamas Network is to create a vibrant and supportive community, one mama at a time.
Our purpose is to bring mamas together and build their village and network of resources. Our goal is to provide every mother with equitable access to information and resources, supported by meaningful, in-person events.
what we provide
A THIRD PLACE
We provide a "third place" for mamas to gather, connect, and share space. A third place is a space outside of home (first place) and work (second place), and are crucial for maintaining social bonds, supporting mental well-being, and enriching the fabric of our community.
INFORMATION & RESOURCES
We scour the internet to bring mamas helpful information and lists of resources to manage their household. Coming soon: A full list of childcare centers and summer camps in the greater Ann Arbor area.
AWARENESS & ACTION
We all talk about what happens when a child is born, but we don’t talk enough about what happens when a mother is born. Through online communities, social media, and this website, mamas can connect anywhere and support one another virtually and in-person.
